S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in Chapter 8 of ITC (HS) 2012, Schedule 1 (Import Policy):
2. The CIF value of Areca Nuts under the following Exim Codes of Chapter 8 of ITC (HS) 2012, Schedule 1 (Import Policy) is revised from the present‘Rs.75/- and above per Kilogram’ to ‘Rs. 110/- and above per Kilogram’. The revised entries shall be as under:

2. Effect of this Amendment :
The minimum price for import of Areca Nuts is enhanced from existing Rs. 75/- to Rs. 110/- per Kilogram.
